Family Therapy

Family therapy is usually targeted to address specific issues that affect the family unit, such as stressful events, divorce, communication patterns, interpersonal conflict, or behavioral problems. Therapeutic goals can also include deepening family connection. The objectives will depend on each specific family's situation.

Therapy can include all family members or just those able or willing to participate. Generally, family therapy is most effective when individuals from the family are also seeking individual therapy.
